The call wasn't loud. It was quiet, persistent, and impossible to ignore. Here's what I saw and what I carried home.
Through a lens and a life of intention, I've learned to document the quiet strength, the unseen, and the human stories behind the noise—the quiet beauty that lives in the shadows.
I'm Evey—
a storyteller, learning photographer, and founder.
Over time, I've learned to trust the way I see—
and to build a life around it.
What started as noticing became a way of living and working—
rooted in attention, intention, and presence.
I'm drawn to places where life feels unfiltered—
where resilience isn't loud, but it's everywhere.
Through going, I've seen what is real—through photography I document what is felt—the quiet strength, the beautiful overlooked, and the lives behind the headlines.
"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."
— John 1:5

Dispatches from the field, behind-the-scenes of Inti Vintage, and the threads that tie it all together. New stories coming soon.
The call wasn't loud. It was quiet, persistent, and impossible to ignore. Here's what I saw and what I carried home.
It's not about the places. It's about the people who stay — and the ones who keep showing up for them.

How a vintage thrift store in Temecula became part of something bigger. When you shop Inti, you're part of this story too.

I remember sitting down with Yulia. It was October. It was one of the last nights I had in Ukraine.
I was 17. I was going to Haiti for the third time. Can you remember a time that changed the direction of your life?
Three months of pretending I was fine. The exhaustion was real, the fear was hidden, and the breaking point came where no one could see it.

A dream city. A month after losing my grandmother. I went looking for beauty and found something I wasn't ready for.
Near the frontlines, mothers paint murals and beautify what's left. They stay — not for themselves, but for their children. I broke down watching them create beauty in the dark.
Not all of the work happens far away. Some of it is right in front of me—in the people I know, the gatherings we share, and the everyday moments that I choose to see.
The next place is already taking shape. I'll be there to document what's real—as it unfolds.
Birthdays, reunions, Sunday dinners—the kind of moments that are always there, if you choose to see them.
Pop-ups, store events, and community moments at Promenade Temecula—something I'm part of building, and watching take shape.
Sharing the work in person—stories on the walls, with the people who lived them in the room.
